Back to the long run on a Wednesday, a six mile route I have run a few times before. A pretty depressing route but a nice six miles.

I managed to secure myself a rub from the rugby club’s Sports Therapist, Leanne. I would love to say it was nice, but it wasn’t. It hurts. She worked on both calves and hamstrings and it was agony. Ouch.
However, it does work Thanks Leanne.

Wow, I went for it today. It wasn’t deliberate but my body just said hey, lets roll!. Just a wee three miler today, seems really short after the longer run of yesterday.

I learned a good lesson today. The reason the training plan goes (Rest, Run, Run, Run, Rest, Run, Cross) is for a dam good reason. Changing it to (Run, Run, Run, Run, Rest Rest Rest) because of alcohol was what seemed like a good idea. It was not. It meant that […]
